A wonderful depiction of Hanuman fighting a demon. Hanuman is a Hindu deity, a devotee of Rama and a main character in the Indian epic ‘Ramayana.” Hanuman has been depicted in paintings and sculptures across many cultures in southeast Asia and in this particular depiction (Hanuman is the light skinned figure) he more closely resembles the typical Balinese depiction of Hanuman as opposed to the more familiar monkey-faced Indian depiction. Brilliant colors and incredible smooth brushwork make this image absolutely stunning.
